The financial crisis in 2008 was a make-or-break time for banks. Kelly King recently shared with a University of Maryland audience why BB&T made it when others didn’t.

Kelly King:
“The world was collapsing around us at that time…in a crisis it’s important to hunker down, focus on your fundamental strategy and execute with precision. If you go into a crisis and you have to change a lot you’re probably not going to make it.”
